Burriana Beach
The most famous and probably the most beautiful beach of Nerja opens towards the bay of Nerja and offers a beautiful view of the cliffs of Maro.
The extensive facilities and modern installations make the beach particularly attractive for families. The Burriana beach is only 2 km from Villa Limón. It offers a beautiful beach promenade with many restaurants and bars, a supermarket, souvenir shops, beach chairs and umbrellas (for a fee), showers, a rental of water sports equipment and much more.
The Burriana beach is awarded every year with the "blue flag" award of the Costa del Sol.
Calahonda Beach
Located in the heart of Nerja below the Balcón de Europa. You can reach this beach by taking the stairs "Boquete de Calahonda" at the end of the Calle Puerta del Mar. It has a length of about 115 metres and a width of 15 metres.
El Chorrillo Beach
In order to get to this lonely bay, one follows the promenade "Paseo de los Carabineros". It is 60 metres long, 20 metres wide and has dark, coarse-grained sand.
Carabeillo Beach
This beach has a length of about 70 metres and a width of 10 metres. It can be reached: via a staircase at the end of Calle Carabeo, at the "Mirador del bandito". At the end of the Burriana beach (only on foot). It too has dark, coarse-grained sand.
Natural Park Acantilados de Maro
East of Nerja is a natural park with cliffs and small beaches for nature lovers, such as Alberquillas or Paya de Cañuelo. Without doubt, there is a wide range of beaches where you perfectly can spend your holiday on the Costa del Sol .
