San Juan de Capistrano was built between 1984 and 1986 and over the years has developed into one of the most attractive and sought-after urbanizations on the eastern Costa del Sol.
The urbanization consists of charming villas, apartments and apartments, which were built and positioned in the “pueblo” style in such a way that they benefit from a magnificent view of Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea.

The cottages are surrounded by a park-like landscape with many tropical plants and flowers, which is kept in good condition by their own gardeners.

The Community has an efficient and effective guard service that keeps a watchful eye on the environment. There is also a library, which runs from Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The pool area is laid out like a large lake with rocky island and surrounded with lawn as a lying area, with magnificent views over Nerja and the Mediterranean Sea. There is also a children’s pool for the little ones.
The pools are open from Easter until the end of October. In summer, the pool area closes at 9 pm, but the pool bars and restaurants are open until midnight.

There is also a supermarket on site offering a wide range of products, from food to flip-flops. The supermarket is open from March to November.
A regular bus service runs all year round from San Juan to Nerja.

One more word about the motorway:
On Google Maps you can see that the highway passes very close to the complex. However, it runs through a tunnel and is neither visible nor heard from our holiday apartments.
